The Aventine is an 11-acre mixed use development comprised of a 210,000 square foot Class "A" commercial office building, a 400-room, four star Hyatt Regency Hotel, The Sporting Club at Aventine, a 33,000 square foot, state of the art athletic and spa facility and a restaurant row consisting of four top quality restaurants. In addition, housed within the hotel include Michael's Lounge which features a cigar bar and billiard tables and Barcino Grill, a first rate restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Michael's Lounge, located in the upper lobby of the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, is the place to sip your favorite beverage or "rack em-up" and shoot a little pool. The Sporting Club at Aventine is a 33,000 square foot luxury health, fitness and full spa facility. Whether your looking for a great workout, a manicure or the latest in health and fitness classes and equipment, The Sporting Club at Aventine offers it all.

This facility, among the finest in San Diego, has the latest cardiovascular and fitness equipment and offers challenging and innovative fitness classes with some of the city's most experienced instructors. The facility offers a full floor of free weight and fitness equipment, and a separate floor with the latest in cardiovascular equipment. The annex houses, a separate 2,700 square foot aerobics facility which offers the most comprehensive aerobics programs in all of San Diego. Also located in the annex is a full floor basketball court giving the basketball buff the opportunity for recreational play or league play. The facility also includes separate men's and women's locker and shower facilities each of which include a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Among the programs offered is the latest craze "spinning". The Hyatt Regency La Jolla offers not only on-site first rate catering capabilities, but can also accommodate your catering needs for that important business meeting held in your office.

If your working late or just cannot get away from the Office, the Hyatt Regency La Jolla offers room service to the Office Building Tenants. Call Room Service at the Hotel and order your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The Hyatt Regency will deliver directly to your suite for a minimal fee.



OTHER AMENITIES

Swimming Pool

Included as an amenity to the office building tenants, club members and hotel guests is an Olympic size swimming pool, Jacuzzi and lap pool. This area is open to office building tenants. Come to the Office of the Building for your Pool Access Key.

If you would like to schedule a business meeting, employee lunch or other event at the pool area, call the Office of the Building. We would be happy to schedule your event. There is a fee for the use of the area.


Tennis Courts

Included as an amenity to the office building tenants, club members and hotel guests, are two tennis courts located next to the pool area. The courts are open to office building tenants. Come to the Office of the Building for your tennis court Access Key. You must call The Sporting Club at Aventine (552-8000) and identify yourself as an office building tenant to schedule a match at the Tennis Courts.
