The Interior

There is a classic interior, an environment that is true to it's origins-not a typical cookie-cutter chain feel.  Upon entering the restaurant you will feel that you have been transported to the Mexican Riviera. Warm marble floors interspersed with hand-painted Mexican tiles and sisal carpeting.  Wood beam ceilings and sponge-washed walls  mixed with Mexican blues, papaya and mustard yellows and terracotta accents. Niches cut into walls will display Mexican artifacts and original artwork.  One wall of the back dining area will also display a large selection of rare tequillas behind glass windows. Expensively finished antique furniture and reproductions will lend authenticity to the atmosphere which raises expectations of the food and service to come.

A sweeping wood and granite top bar will give substance and elegance to the lounge area.  A wood and wrought iron back bar display area will show off the extensive selection of one hundred of Mexico's top-rated tequilas. An extensive selection of single malt scotches and premium vodkas will also be available.  A wine list of 125 wines from California, Mexico, South America and Spain will compliment the menu of regional Mexican cuisine.  Colorful glasses in all shapes and sizes will feature an exhaustive length of house cocktails and specialty margaritas.  Wood and granite tables with comfortable lounge chairs will offer the guests a place to retreat at the end of a long day.

The restaurant will offer a Main Dining Room of approximately one hundred, the Agave Room-private dining for twelve, an indoor/outdoor Cantina area of one hundred and enclosed patio dining, the Hacienda Room,  for private parties of up to fifty.

The exhibition kitchen will be designed to  unobtrusive to the diners at that end of the restaurant.   One part of the courtyard has been covered for year round use and availability. The other open patio will be a continuation of the bar for groupings of tables around a fireplace and water fountains to give a sense of intimacy for individuals and small groups.  Both patio areas would have gas heaters to be able to provide comfort year around.  Bright colored flowers, twinkle lights and mature landscaping will give the patio a festive aire.
